Dynojet quickshifter question

Bit of a silly question but which way does a Dynojet quickshifter (pcIII) face for standard shift? Does the male end or female end face the front? Also, where does it go? Gear lever/peg end or gearbox end? Its for a ZX10 2004.....a pic might say a thousand words if anyone has one?

It doesn't matter.. It'll either be push or pull.  It's orientation will make no difference.
