I thought insurers were like casinos. It's virtually impossible for them to go bust.

Likewise.

I barely ever visit the site any more but I'd be sad for it to disappear.

I concur that you can have fun with 70bhp, especially if it handles well like the ER-6 bikes DaveH mentioned, or the wee Huskvarna Vitpilen I had on the memorial run last year, or even on my CB750 that doesn't have the best handling but overall it's good enough to keep up. If I could only have one bike, I'd want a bit more power - 100bhp at least.

My R1 has plenty of power but still about 50bhp less than current superbikes. But I can't even use that on the roads here without getting fines galore.

Personally, my balance would be to go for something with looks I love and enough power (>100bhp) to not feel frustrated. I'd want it to be a bike that always makes me turn and take another look at it every time I walk away from it. So a Z900RS would tick those boxes for me.

Sunday. Went out for about 120 miles on the R1 with a mate on his ZX-12R. Was good to be out although I needed my heated kit on the way home.

And went out on Saturday on my own for a similar distance.  :moto:

If you can get the design you want made in ImageReady, any printers should be able to print onto self-adhesive vinyl and then you can lacquer over the top if you wish.

Great to see some progress on this thread! :-D

Quote from: DaveH on January 29, 2020, 12:22:27 PMnot keen on the current styling of the zx6r; did like the Z650, but latest one has lost some of what looks it had.
Yeah, I'm not a big fan of their looks either. I think somehow Kawasaki are trying to incorporate some of the looks (and popularity) of the old B1 across the range with headlights that sort of slope under. But the designs are too fussy for my liking.

Quote from: GRUMPY on January 17, 2020, 05:24:05 PMThe new SX is designated a Ninja now. Not that I will be buying anything soon.
I would love to have one of those in my 3 or 4 bike garage.   :cheesy:

I was just reading this article and wondered who's planning to buy a 2020 ZX-6R. I was also surprised at the power they get out of a 600 now - 136bhp with ram air! That's more than a third over what my old G1 had!

Ooh, and much easier to embed YouTube clips. Is there any Giphy (or other animated GIF) plugin for this version?

Well done, Komp!

Good decision (although you ditch the switchgear on race bikes don't you)

Looks epic!  :afro: I would never be able to use half of the abilities of a machine like that.
