Viewing this tomorrow. It's had loads of interest but I have my name top of the list.
Really fancy it. It's got a reasonable service history and just a couple of minor marks I'd try and sort. Matt Black is not my favourite finish.
The dealer can't do a test ride but it should be OK at about 105 bhp.
What do you think?

I absolutely adore those things. Ridden the 749 and the 999 lots and I'd have either.
Dealers not far from you. Are you about?
I only have a small time window but it would be good to catch up.
Looks in good condition. Not far from me.
Matt black is an arse to clean but I loved the look on my aprillia.
Trick was to wash it, wipe it over with a baby wipe and WD40 then Wurth Helmet Cleaner spray and polish off.
Thanks Dom.
The matt finish is the worse thing about it so I appreciate the tips.

I'm fairly relaxed today so let me know when you're going and I'll bob down.
I'm going tomorrow Dan. Awaiting authorisation to do a circuit evaluation on the airfield tomorrow afternoon hence not knowing yet what sort of time I'll have available. I'll be going first thing.

Will give wifey a slap tonight over shameful lack of OT tickets this season........ it really is not good enough.

That is breathtakingly pretty! Good luck Moz
apart from being the wrong colour.. it looks alreet
Much better choice than the Daytona
Shame the budget cannot stretch to a 999 though I assume
Dan - awesome. Get some OT time immediately.
Komp - at least it's designed by a Ducati legend and not a German car company.
Phil - decent 999's well out of budget. I'm stretching to the 749.
I like the idea of lightness and corner speed.
Belts...that's all.
They've been done in the past 2 years. It's got some history. The bike shop owner knows it's owner and has dealt with him for some time. I will try and get them to drop the price so I can get them done for peace of mind.
Why no test ride?? Radcliffe not far from me when you know what time I'll see if I can pop along :-) . Looks lovely btw
Shop don't have test rides on their insurance. It's only a small place.
Too late Iain. Rocked up there at 0830 - had it bought by 0915.
A little money off. MOT. Oil, filter and belts changed as part of the deal. They may even deliver it as their mechanic likes days out to N Wales!! It's a nice bike. A few age related marks but looked and sounded very nice.
Back on two wheels :afro:
Congratulations. Enjoy.
Nice one Moz
Nice one. Many happy and safe miles. :moto: :moto:
Nice one moz!
Memorial Rideout, end of April, would be a good run for the Duke.
Delightful!
:thumbleft: nice one moz
all the cool kids ride ducatis now.
Just insured it. I love being old.
Congratulations. Very sexy bike.
I assumed this thread updating would be a post about it breaking down. Good to see I was wrong...for now

He needs to ride it first....😉
Ducati's are more than happy to break down while just existing
Enjoy moz, V twins rule
Haven't even picked it up yet.
Weather killed any chance of the belts being done last week as the guy from Italsport was snowed in. Belts done Sat pm but I'm struggling to get a bike delivery company do collect this weekend for me. Weekend van hire is stupid expensive. If I can get a weekday off work (I've run out of leave until the end of Mar) then I can can hire for £38.
Are you still at RAF valley
Yep.
Enjoy the new wheels Moz
I can hire a van and pick it up and bring it over during the week if it helps.

You are too nice. I'll call you later but I think I can sort it next week myself.

Sweet. Genuinely don't know where my phone is. Offer stands but if you do sort it, let me know when and I'll bob down for a look at you
Collected today. Got it home and then managed to fit the "hens teeth" pattern cowl I managed to source.
Didn't get a chance to ride it (other than up the drive to the garage) so that's the next "joy".
I suspect I'll find it too slow and it'll be up for sale soon.
Speed isn't everything. :moto:
Happy new bike mate. Try and catch on a ride out when the Summer finally arrives.
Definitely. I'm around until early June then away for 4 months with work ☹️
