Snapped a bolt on the ktms oil filter cover (Indian bolts) you can get on it but not to grip it , who had this happend to? Engine like bolts ? And what's best way of getting it out I'm thinking a left drill bit slowly should pull it out

Is there enough to get a stud extractor on it?

Don't think so it's pretty flush with the engine casing

Bought a new pair of gloves , decided they didn't go with any of my bikes , so I went and bought a 15 plate duke 390 with 2.5k on the clocks

Good quality metal drill, small pilot hole, then bigger hole followed by reverse thread bolt extractor should do the trick.

ash

Get someone to tig a bolt or Allen key on it

If the break is flat you should be ok. If not careful grinding may be in order.

You should be ok centre punching.

Out of interest, how did it happen? You didn't use an electric ratchet did you?

Carbon_ZX6R

Thinking about putting a left drill bit in my Dremel to do it , took it off and did it up barely more than hand tight and the head came off , the bolts on this thing are terrible

yep..... every time

It's a small hole , where the break is I can't grind it and I wouldn't feel comfortable welding on something that small , pilot hole and reverse extractors is the only option , only problem is it's not flat so I'm hoping I can hold it steady enough with my Dremel

I have drilled exhaust studs out before, but you need a steady hand and nice sharp drills to core the stud without damaging the thread in the hole

I'll be attempting it in the week , watch out for the how to change engine casings thread...
