Not sure if this guy has got his hands on some of the mythical road bikes that occasionally raise their heads or if it is just replicas?

I seem to remember somewhere in my failing mind, that someone has the rights etc to make them? I will try and find a link to where i read it.

Alzo

The best sounding motorcycle ever...and those flames were awesome

Maddog

My memory failed me. It was MSX International who built some but didn't have any rights etc. Ignore me.

Any idea on prices? Id love one sat in my living room!!!!!

David W

All I remember is that they were mind-bendingly shit, and Craig Jones telling me the only reason he rode one was because they paid him a lot to ride it.
The racebike never made more than about 155HP while the Japanese bikes were knocking out 200+.

MOzZereLLa

Designed the year WSB changed the engine capacity rules for the following season. All of a sudden the 4 cylinder bikes were 1000s and not 750s anymore.

It was doomed from the outset but was the finest handling bike on the grid.

Power and heat dissapation was its major issues.

David W

Handled well because it was only having to cope with 75% of the power

Maddog

The guy who's selling one in Surrey wants offers in the region of £40k!! Is it being one of 100 road bikes rare enough to think its an investment at that price?  :huh

MOzZereLLa

Exactly that.

Probably worth it.

Lord Danoir the first

Worth it, but limited market for resale later
