Title: ER6 Supertwin
Post by: sharky on September 28, 2017, 10:29:23 PM
I have just purchased this old ER6 which will become my 2018 race bike

It will be a supertwin
Plan is
Zx6R front end with Ktech internals
Ktech rear shock on a Versys swing arm
MSS Tuned engine
MHP custom pipe
Moto 2 or KMR bodywork
Ram air
Slipper clutch
Bored out throttle bodies
Custom loom
Data logging

Etc etc
The rest to Work out as I go

Other changes = me not being a fat git & rediscover some riding confidence

Is the Versys swing arm longer or something?

I look forward to reading about the progress.  :afro:

It's stiffer AND lighter
Most importantly it's in the rules

Today's decision
Don't strip the bike and get the frame straightened
Just buy a newer model straight frame ... it's cheaper and will make the build easier
Guess the shitter has become a donor bike instead

The bill just went up a few hundred quid
No biggie
