I’d rather have a decent sorted 600-750 sports bike for track riding.

Some of us raced national standard spec Superbikes before electronics had only scratched the surface of MotoGP and learnt the hard way.

Soooo. Other than loads of advice and general banter..

This is the bike sale page and this is a bike listing.

Can it be left at that ?

Really?

If it was a real for sale advert I’d say yes but it’s carbon - he needs all the help he can get surely.

The missus has even put it on the Facebook , what ever that means lol...... All this rush because I fancy a vtwin...... Never bought a brand new bike before anything I should know?
V Twins are half an engine...sound like tractors...and ridden by folks not man enough for the power of an inline 4...apart from that not much else to know.

You’re such a bell end.

Your weak arms couldn’t cope with the 100+ ftlbs of torque a real mans V-Twin produces - jog on ;)

Excellent Peej.

I’m sure he’ll be happy to sort you a 10% “how to sort an advert properly” fee.

I don’t know why (or how) I would have had part throttle while using engine braking.  :dontknow:
the XR you had was faulty...all BMWs are unreliable heaps of shit but you can be decelerating but still not completely off the throttle...I did it a few times when I first got it and quickly realised what I was doing.

fixed  ;)

I’ll counter that with using a blipper eliminates the rider and bar movement that’s unavoidable with the requirement to pull levers and balance the clutch approaching corners making the bike more stable on braking therefore faster into the corners.

*Cough* remap, QS and blipper *cough*

The advantage of one even road riding to balance the bike pre-corner downshifting is huge.
