Not sure if this guy has got his hands on some of the mythical road bikes that occasionally raise their heads or if it is just replicas?

Said they were some of the original 150 road bikes that they had to produce to be allowed to compete in WSBK
they thought they had been destroyed, but now they have miraculously appeared

I seem to remember somewhere in my failing mind, that someone has the rights etc to make them? I will try and find a link to where i read it.

All I remember is that they were mind-bendingly shit, and Craig Jones telling me the only reason he rode one was because they paid him a lot to ride it.
The racebike never made more than about 155HP while the Japanese bikes were knocking out 200+.

Designed the year WSB changed the engine capacity rules for the following season. All of a sudden the 4 cylinder bikes were 1000s and not 750s anymore.
It was doomed from the outset but was the finest handling bike on the grid.
Power and heat dissapation was its major issues.

Handled well because it was only having to cope with 75% of the power

The guy who's selling one in Surrey wants offers in the region of £40k!! Is it being one of 100 road bikes rare enough to think its an investment at that price? :huh
