So I'm considering a change for 2020 (no shock). I've enjoyed the Daytona 675 so much since I got it that I'm keen on a newer model.

The KTM is awesome but a bit raw. I wouldn't miss it if it went.

So options are:

Sell both and acquire an older 675R model and an older 765 Street RS.

Sell both and buy a 2017 S1000R Sport (liked my older one) and a newer Daytona 675R model.

Wait for the new 765 Street RS and see if  I can get an older 675R with the "change"

Do you mean a BMW S1000R?

MOzZereLLa

Indeed I do.

I have had one before you know.

I know you have...but you pronounced it Soulless.

I also must have missed the Daytona purchase.

I might sell the 1290 and just keep the 450.
I do less than 1k a year biking, so cant see the point of a big bike.

Bought for the airfield and mini-fest at Oulton.

Love it.

S1000R is soulless but that don't make it crap. It's either that or a Speed Triple R but the Beemer has more toys I'd want on a bike and seems the better bang for buck. The Speed has a much better engine.

Speed engine much more character - better grunt, sounds miles better yet still as smooth as a four pot. Might be miles behind on power but definitely better.

Get over yourself 😉

You cannot teach people the difference between a good engine and a great engine...it's a shame...enjoy your good engine. 😊😉

Whatever word you use to describe the Beemers engine the Speed's is better.

Move along now.
