Lever guard has gone.

Parts For Sale / ZX10R Brake Caliper, M/C Setup
November 09, 2015, 06:09:49 PM
This was fitted to a 2004 model and selling as I'm using my road ZX10R as the basis for a university project. Includes...

Triumph Daytona 675 Nissin monobloc calipers (108mm bolt spacing).
HEL braided lines.
BMW S1000RR Nissin radial M/C and pot.
Banjo pressure switch.
Racebolt stainless steel pre drilled bolts.

The calipers have had material removed from the posts to suit and even then are NOT suitable for 300mm discs. You require 310mm or larger (with spacers).

£300 including P+P.

Same for 99% of people who buy it or use carbon hydrodip, they just do it for looks. Belongs with "MotoGP" exhaust crowd, cast them all out I say.

Bike Talk / Re: ZX6R vs ZX9R?

The more time I spend around people who blame the bike and garage chatter the more time I close my ears and day dream.

Had a G2, did over 50k miles on road and track and never had any trouble. Kept on top of servicing, made sure the suspension was kept fresh and set up to which it always did what I asked of it. To be fair it's still the most comfortable and confident bike I've had to date and I've had an RSV and ZX10R since.

You'll find that a lot of OEM equipment is the same between brands. I know this M/C has been used by BMW, Kawasaki and Triumph.
