If you had to buy a track bike for UK circuits, what would your choice be?

Would it be a 1000cc or a 600cc?

Looking back at the times I went on track I have to say the 600 bikes were more fun...you can rag the arse off them...most times you just crack the throttle open and go...a 1000cc took more thinking when opening the throttle...I did Knockhill a lot...and probably posted my fastest times on a 600cc bike.

Lord Danoir the first

I was always of the mindset that a 600 is all you need, and frankly a well ridden 600 is faster than all of us....... but having now ridden a litre plus on track, with the way they handle nowadays, they are exhilarating.

Personally, I have no real interest in traction control, although I'm sure I'd love it, I still like throttle control to  be a big part of my (limited) skill set.

Can't recommend an RC8 highly enough. They're great value for money, go really well on track (ask Moz and M6rk), fit a  more portly frame comfortably and look ace, plus you stand out a bit.

Doing Cartegena later in the week, I'll try and get some footage.
