Have you asked K-Tech how much they'd charge to swap them over?  You might be surprised how reasonable they are if you take the forks to them.
I think I might send them an e-mail might be all but the same as new fork seals

I've just bought new forks for my MV. As I've no idea of their history, Maxton are giving them a going over for £150.

Not worth messing about for the price of a decent meal out.

Hm racing have said 120 + parts and vat and depending on what I want done with the other forks , might just switch the forks and have them tidied up in the future

Going to just switch the forks and later down the line have them returned , right as the ones on the donor forks are marked up  what is involved in removing the fork caps as there are adjusters I imagine they don't just come off?

No. The fork cap will be as per stock. You still need to compress the spring to get the cap nut off.  The k-tech kit will be mostly in the guts of the cartridge. Swapping the cartridge of the forks over would be simple to do if you know how to strip and service USD forks. I would recommend you send them for a service and have the internals swapped. The slider bushes will likely be due a change and doing them isn't easy on the b1 if you don't have the correct size drivers.

Well that rules that out just don't have the space and tools anymore , pooh don't say that I've only just decided not to swap the internals and now I'm considering it again , the plan was to swap the forks and when the seal goes have them fully stripped and refurbed , sleeves anodised black stanchions with dlc coating fork lowers black again and was going to try and get a set of these afterarjey fork caps as the b1h are a bit boring but not sure what size would be needed
