ive done 100 miles on one.. the fueling was horrible and the suspension waaay too hard. gearbox was hard work too.. however with an ecu update, suspension twiddle etc It was a much much nicer bike.. beautiful to look at.. i'd have one..

Which model Mark? 2015 onwards Mk2 with radial brakes or the first version?

Be honest

You will be getting this for the looks and rarity. The thruxton may be a better bike, but who cares. This is a lesser seen bike

If you like something enough you will forgive it's shortcomings

Carbon_ZX6R

Just get the thruxton and change the badge nobody will know!

Aesthetics is the single best reason to buy a motorcycle.

Unless you plan on riding the bally thing, but who would be silly enough to do that?

The problem is finding one close enough.

May have to try a Thruxton R and hope the Norton is as good.

I'd expect the Triumph to be a better bike.  Won't have the exclusivity but it will be more developed.

You've owned a B1, haven't you? ;)

Most of you who know me on other forms of social media know that I went British (icon, not technically British owned anymore) in the end.

The "fucking hell" corresponds to the amount of money I appear to have spent. Life savings were doing fuck all in these zero interest rate days anyway.....

Quote possibly but I'm not missing bikes at all at the moment and this sounds better than any bike I've ever owned.

Had to be done.
